|Yasmin Akhtar was recognised for her achievements at the region’s Business Support Professional Awards.
The competition was organised by Business Enterprise Support (BES) and sponsored by Business Link West Midlands.
Yasmin Akhtar walked off with one of the main awards after beating off strong competition to secure the title of Minority Ethnic Business Professional of the Year.
Go-Woman! is delighted to be part of Leonardo Partnership project. A project headed by Italian partners involving 12 EU countries.
The aim of the project is to bridge the gap between young people and older learners in the field of ICT.
The partnership for this project are made up of subjects from 12 EU countries interested in vocational education and training such as trainers or VET-professionals, SME, adult education providers, schools and Institutions.
The project will facilitate workshops between young people who will bring their fresh ideas and the seniors’ know-how & experience, developing new ideas for VET, employability and entrepreneurship in ICT.
